Site work and paving for a road / highway in Franklinton, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Project consists of: Mobilization, cold mill planning, installation of hot asphaltic concrete (wearing course, 2" thick, installation of pavement patching (12" thick, minimum), installation of thermoplastic pavement striping (various line types and colors), installation of manhole and valve adjustments, installation of catch basins, haul- in/grade/ compact limestone, final cleanup and fine grading in all areas, including seeding and fertilizing of disturbed areas during construction, and other miscellaneous work as called for on the drawings or reasonably implied. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Spangler Engineering, LLC; 214 Southwest Railroad Avenue; Hammond, LA 70403; (985) 542-8665; Jay C. Pittman, P.E.; (985) 542-8665; jay@spanglerengineering.com. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (Monday- Thursday), and 8:00 am - 12 noon (Friday) Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to "Spangler Engineering, LLC". Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above plus a non-refundable shipping charge, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method selected by the prospective Bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
