The purpose of this Request for Pre-Qualification ("RFPQ") is to invite interested Demolition Contractors ("Respondents") to submit Responses indicating their interest in and qualifications for the demolition scope of the Slocan Site Redevelopment Project (RFPQ No: C420-03RFPQDEMO). Based on these Responses, Provincial Health Services Authority (the "Authority") intends to select, in accordance with the terms of this RFPQ, a short-list of Respondents will be invited to participate in the next stage of the Demolition Tender process. The scope of work will include: a. supply and installation of a timber hoarding around the area of the demolition, which will be retained by the Authority for the subsequent construction phase of the Project; b. demolition plan and demolition permit preparation and application; c. hazardous material removal (a hazmat survey will be made available); d. removal of any fuel tanks which may be encountered; e. minor alterations to the Annex (highlighted in fig. 1 in blue) to facilitate removal of link bridge and safe means of access/egress during demolition and construction phases of the Project f. demolition and removal of all structures forming the former Sunny Hill Main Building complex (highlighted in fig. 1 in red); g. demolition and removal of Modular Buildings* (highlighted in fig.1 in yellow).
