The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company has been awarded a contract for the University of Maryland SCUB 3 Hydronic Replacement project on the College Park, Maryland campus. Please note that all subcontractors must be pre-qualified by Whiting-Turner in order for their proposal to be considered. This project has a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) participation goal of twenty five percent (25%) with subgoals of eight percent (8%) African American-Owned and eleven percent (11%) Women-Owned businesses. All MBE subcontractors and suppliers must be certified by the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) in order for contract dollars to be counted toward project goals.
