Leyden Rock Metropolitan District (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Pool equipment and furnishings The Project includes the following Work: The construction of additional shade structures to the concrete deck of the pool. We are open to working with the contractor on the type and quantity of structure. Our preference would be a cantilevered design to reduce the amount of posts on the pool deck. This project also includes the demolition of an existing pergola to be replaced with a shade structure consistent in design with the new structures. The project may also include a 30x30 hip shelter that would sit on an appropriately sized concrete pad. The Owner will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. No pre-bid conference will be held. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Bidders are hereby advised the Owner reserves the right to not award a Contract until sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of Bids, and Bidders expressly agree to keep their Bids open for the sixty (60) day time period. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any informality, technicality or irregularity in any Bid, to disregard all non-conforming, nonresponsive, conditional or alternate Bids, to negotiate contract terms with the Successful Bidder, to require statements or evidence of Bidders qualifications, including financial statements, and to accept the proposal that is, in the opinion of the Owner, in its best interest. Owner also reserves the right to extend the Bidding period by Addendum if it appears in its interest to do so.
