The City of Montesano solicits letters of interest and resums of applicable experience from consultants qualified to develop plans, specifications, estimates, and if performance is satisfactory, provide construction engineering for the following project. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Funded Project: Talbot Street Culvert Replacement. The Scope of Work includes: Design of a culvert replacement project on Scofield Creek at N. Talbot Street. Work will comply with state and federal regulatory requirements and includes determination of the culvert size, evaluation of critical area, cultural resource and geotechnical constraints, preparation of plans, specifications and estimates and coordination with FEMA on NEPA compliance. Time of performance for design work is expected to be from January 2022 through June 2022. The construction phase will not be part of the design engineering agreement. The construction engineering will be considered when design phase is near completion and will require a separate agreement. Letters of Interest will be evaluated and ranked based on the following criteria: - Qualification and Experience of the Proposed Project Manager and Project Team - Local Project Knowledge and Experience - Experience with WDFW and FEMA standards and guidelines The city will use the following process for selecting a consultant: Evaluate all Letters of Interest and, if more information is needed, select up to three consultants to submit proposals.
