Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Saint-Charles-sur-Richelieu, Quebec. Design plans call for the construction of a 17,500-square-foot, two-story above grade fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
Construction of a new Municipality Fire station. The building will feature a garage for fire trucks, rooms for personal protective equipment, fire hoses and other specialized equipment and will contain working and living space for the firefighters and support staff. TIMELINE: The owner has awarded professional consultants for the project design and construction work monitoring. Preliminary studies and conceptual design are underway. Preliminary plans are expected to begin in summer 2023. According to the owner's preliminary scheduling design of the project will be completed in late 2023 and a tender for the general contractor will be issued in January/February 2024. Construction is anticipated during the period from May 2024 to March 2025.
