Replacing pumps and associated items within the WTP and the construction of a new well house with well pump at the Kashong Point wellfield. Work of the General Construction Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Remaining work not identified as work under other contracts. 2. General Construction Work includes replacement of three (3) vertical turbine pumps inside the Water Treatment Plant including discharge piping, pump control valves, gate valves, air/vacuum release valves, a flow meter, and related appurtenances. General Construction also includes construction of a masonry well pump house including foundation, structure, well pump and pump pedestal, discharge piping, flow meter, gate valves, air release valve, check valve, and related appurtenances, and connection of this new well house to the existing buried piping at the site. B. Temporary facilities and controls in the General Construction Contract include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Temporary facilities and controls that are not otherwise specifically assigned to the] Electrical Contract. 2. Temporary heating and ventilation. 3. Temporary water as needed. 4. Temporary sanitary facilities. 5. Temporary field offices for General Contractor with associated parking. 6. Construction related erosion and sediment control. For this project, the goals are a participation of 30% for MBE/WBE firms and 6% for SDVOB.
