Notice is hereby given that the Public Works Committee of the Steuben County Legislature and the Commissioner of Public Works will receive sealed bids per specifications for: Stone Fill (R042208) 1. The bidder shall include a fully executed original bid bond with its submittal. The bid bond shall be issued by a surety company authorized to do business in New York State. The bond shall be in the amount of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00). A certified check, Cashier's check, or a bank issued Irrevocable Standby Letter of Credit may be submitted in lieu of a bid bond. 2. The bid surety shall state the bid document title and document number. Said surety shall be made payable to: Steuben County Finance. a. Steuben County reserves as its right, the right to require clarification from bidders for the purpose of assuring a full understanding of the bidder's responsiveness to the solicitation requirements. b. Steuben County reserves as its right; the right to accept or reject any and all bids (or separable portions thereof), the right to waive irregularities and technicalities, and the right to request resubmittal of bids (re-bid).
