The purpose of this request for bid (RFB) is to acquire used like new 24x40 modular office for the department of public works. Bids are subject to acceptance at any time within thirty (30) calendar days of the closing date, unless otherwise stated. Contractors with Unresolved Disallowed Costs: If Bidder's compliance with a County contract has been reviewed by the Department of the Auditor-Controller within the last 10 years, Bidder must not have unresolved questioned costs identified by the Auditor-Controller in an amount over $100,000.00 that are confirmed to be disallowed costs by the contracting County department and remain unpaid for a period of six months or more from the date of disallowance, unless such disallowed costs are the subject of current good faith negotiations to resolve the disallowed costs, in the opinion of the contracting County department. Under the provisions of said Labor Code, the State Department of Industrial Relations will ascertain the prevailing hourly rate in dollars and details pertinent thereto for each craft, classification or type of workers or mechanic needed to execute any Award that may be awarded by the County. Particulars of the current Prevailing Wage Scale, which are applicable to the work contemplated under these specifications, are to be maintained in the Department, and must be posted at the project site by the Vendor or his/her subcontractor.
