There are many sources of recycled water in the wastewater treatment process. All of this returned water must be treated with primary treatment. This is done with a clarifier. This device lets the solids settle to the bottom and then sweeps the sludge off the bottom and sends it to the next step in the process. Much of this process is submerged under the water it is treating and is constructed of carbon steel. This steel has corroded to almost the point of failure and must be replaced. This project is intended to replace this corroded portion.
