**As of January 24,2023, project was awarded to Southeast Construction Co., LLC, awarded amount is $2,964,918.85.** This project primarily consists of widening and resurfacing of Browntown Road from SR 2 to Parkview Road for a total project length of 2.9 miles. The existing 20 wide roadway will be widened to 24 wide and isolated roadway reconstruction will also be included. Shoulder work, roadway excavation and ditch grading will also be included along with drainage improvements consisting of cross drain culvert extensions and replacements, concrete inlets, concrete mitered end sections, ditch pavement and concrete headwalls. Signing and thermoplastic pavement markings are also included in this project. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality orto reject any or all bids. Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable according to the Department of Treasury Circular 570. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
