Clemson University is seeking a contract for Stone Aggregate Clemson University is seeking to establish a contract for providing and delivering Stone Aggregate to the Clemson University Campus and surrounding satellite Offices no more than 20 miles from the Clemson University Campus. The initial term of this agreement shall be one (1) year from the effective date as stated on the award document. At the end of the initial term, and at the end of each renewal term, this contract will automatically renew for a period of one year, unless the contractor receives notice that Clemson University elects not to renew the contract for at least thirty (30) days prior to the date of renewal. Renewals may be less than, but will not exceed four (4) additional one (1) year period. The maximum expiration date for this contract will be no later than five (5) years from the initial start date as shown on the original statement of award. The awarded bidder will be expected to provide Clemson University with Stone Aggregate based on the pricing submitted in the Bidding Schedule. There are two pricing scenarios. Lot A is a price for product and delivery and Lot B is a price for product only (the University will pick up). The Grand Total is what will be used to determine the most advantageous pricing for the University. Additional products may be added to the scope during the term of this contract if agreed upon by both the University and the successful offeror. Delivery time must be within 24 hours ARO. Assuming a full load is 20 tons, orders for full loads will be all-inclusive. No orders under a full load delivered will be requested. The quantities listed in Appendix A - Bidding Schedule are estimated based on historical data. Clemson University reserves the right to purchase more or less than these quantities. A purchase order must be issued for each individual order prior to delivery. Appendix A - Bidding Schedule contains the descriptions of what is required and the estimated quantities associated with each type. The quantities listed in Appendix A are estimated quantities based on previous usage, not guarantees. The total quantity that will be required is not known. The price you bid is to include ALL fees (i.e. fuel charges, material, environmental fees, etc.). The spreadsheet is pre-formulated so you only need to enter your unit prices. Enter the estimated freight costs for a full truckload of each item in Lot A. The freight column is for information only and not part of the award. Enter the Grand Total in the online bidding system as instructed. An Award will be made to up to two offerors that are responsive, responsible and offer the most advantageous pricing for Clemson University. Appendix A - Bidding Schedule Offerors must complete Appendix A - Bidding Schedule located under the Attachments tab in the online bidding system. Complete this spreadsheet, save it as an excel sheet, and re-attach the completed spreadsheet to the Response Attachments tab in the online bidding system as part of the bid response for evaluation purposes. Failure to do so will result in the rejection of an offer.
