Competitive Sealed Proposals for the construction of ESSER HVAC Replacement in High Occupancy Areas of Middle Schools and High Schools (Group 2) The Project will be funded in whole with funds provided through the ARP ESSER grant program, authorized in the American Rescue Plan Act (ARP), which was signed into law in March 2021. The federal Department of Education has allocated funds to the states under the ESSER Program to fund grants to school districts throughout its state, including renovations or remodeling, that are necessary to the program goals of prevention of, preparation for or response to COVID-19. EPISD is a subrecipient of the state of ESSER funding for the Project. To maintain its eligibility for such funding, the Solicitation package contains additional or different provisions, certifications and requirements than Respondents may be generally accustomed to when responding to the District's normal construction solicitations. Respondents are encouraged to examine this Solicitation and the accompanying Contract Forms and Addenda carefully, understand the terms and conditions for providing the services listed herein, and respond completely.
