IDNR is seeking a Vendor to install an aggregate parking lot at Apple River Canyon State Park. Please see attached Scope of Work for further details. Is this a Small Business Set Aside Procurement: No Is there a BEP/VBP Participation Goal : No DNR Apple River Canyon - Construct Witkowsky & Hanover Bluff Parking Lots The Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) Engineering department recommends the installation of aggregate parking lot at Witkowsky Unit for Apple River Canyon State Park. The purpose is to supply parking to better serve the public for these nature area IDNR proposes to construct the following parking lots: Witkowsky Unit parking lot #6 is to be located on Batey Hollow Road at the site of an existing field entrance and shall consist of constructing a 122'x45'aggregate parking lot with a 22' x 70' aggregate entrance. The project shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, removal of sod and topsoil, grading site, excavation and compaction of subgrade, installation of Geotech fabric, installation, and compaction of aggregate base course (IDOT CA02 & CA 06), install stone boulders as barriers around parking lot and install posts for a farm gate.
