Project Description a. The Maplewood Memorial Library Construction Project - A Library for the 21st Century - includes a total reconstruction of the Baker Street building from a one story to a two-story building. The facility will include audiovisual enabled teaching, learning, and collaborative spaces. Spaces in the building include a small performance/presentation space, instructional areas, a creative space, and conference spaces, all of which shall include audiovisual technologies. b. The Maplewood Memorial Library is seeking a turn-key job to be provided by one vendor to supply equipment, labor, installation materials, control systems programming, audio DSP programming, testing, training, and follow-up support for the audiovisual systems as described in this Specification. Summary and Background The Maplewood Memorial Library, 129 Boyden Avenue, Maplewood, NJ 07040 (hereinafter "the Library"), and the Township of Maplewood, 574 Valley Street, Maplewood, NJ 07040 (hereinafter "the Township"), are soliciting sealed proposal for a Single Prime Contract for the Audiovisual Systems for the Maplewood Memorial Library Construction Project at 51 Baker Street, Maplewood, N.J 07040. It is anticipated that installation will begin in December 2023.
