The City of Corona Public Works Department is seeking bids to award a contract for landscape maintenance. The project consists of performing basic landscape maintenance activities including, but not limited to, irrigation checks, weed control and plant care to ensure the landscaped areas improved during the Cajalco and Interstate 15 (I-15) Interchange Project are maintained to a clean and healthy appearance and have vegetation that is thriving. Project areas are shown in the attached Appendix A - Map of Maintenance Area. The City shall award the Contract for the Project to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as determined from the total bid amount. Please allow sufficient time to fully complete and upload each and every document prior to the bid submission deadline. The PlanetBids system will not accept late bids. No exceptions. Failure to submit electronic bids shall result in a non-responsive bid and will not be considered for award. Pursuant to SB 854, which amended the Prevailing Wage Laws, certain categories of services are subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. Beginning March 1, 2015, with very limited exceptions no consultant or subconsultant may be listed on a proposal for these contracts unless registered with the DIR pursuant to Labor Code section 1725. 5.
