The Town of Huntersville (the Town) is requesting Statements of Qualifications from Private Engineering Firms to provide Engineering Design and Surveying services for upcoming projects. Projects may be Town funded. The solicitation and selection of these services shall be conducted in accordance with the State's guidelines and the Town's standards and terms Project selection will be at the sole discretion of the Town on an as needed basis. Potential project types may include roadway widening projects, intersection improvements, sidewalk projects, and stormwater projects in various locations in Town. The PEF shall provide Engineering Design and Surveying services, in accordance with all applicable NCDOT guidelines, as required to construct the project as per the construction documents. At the time of the Statement of Qualification submittal, the firm must be qualified to perform the following services, but not limited to: o Rural/Urban Roadway Design o Sidewalk Design o Surveying o Plat Preparation and ROW Easement o Deed and property research o Construction and/or property/easement staking o As-built Surveys o Permitting o Traffic Impact Study o Feasibility Studies o Erosion and Sediment Control Design o Work Zone Traffic Control Plans o Signal Design o Capacity Analysis o Utility Coordination o Railroad Coordination o Bid documents o Engineer's Quanities and Estimate o Feasibility and Concept Design Meetings with individual Town staff members are prohibited. Include your name, company, email, and direct phone number for efficient correspondence. If a question of general concern is asked by any firm, an addendum will be posted. The Town reserves the right to select qualifying Firms which can provide one or multiple services requested in this RFQ and to reject any and all Statements of Qualifications for any reason and at any time and to waive minor informalities. The Town further reserve the right to forgo on-call services from selected on-call PEFs and advertise for professional services for any project it deems necessary. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
