2022-0525 C2 ILMS NO. 22045215 Proposals shall be plainly marked with name and address of the person or entity submitting the proposal ("BIDDER") and the following words: PROPOSAL FOR CRP/AI HAFER ROAD OWNER, L.P. ON BEHALF OF CNP UTILITY DISTRICT PUBLIC WATER MAIN EXTENSION "NAME AND ADDRESS OF BIDDER" January 2, 2023, 2:00 PM CRP/AI Hafer Road Owner, L.P. on behalf of CNP Utitlity District Public Water Main proposal includes approximately: 2,500 L.F. of water main (includes approximately 2,315 L.F. of 12 inch C900 DR18 PVC, 135 LF 12 inch C900 DR14, 135LF of 16 inch steel casing) and appurtenances to serve the Alliance North Freeway Business Park The anticipated start date for the work is February 3, 2023 and date of substantial completion is April 28, 2023. All work must conform to State of Texas, County of Harris, and CNP Utility District rules and criteria. A Cashier's Check, Certified Check or acceptable Bid Bond, payable to Alliance, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the Contract, the BIDDER will enter into a contract and execute bonds within ten (10) days of award of the Contract. Performance and Payment Bonds shall also be executed on the forms furnished by the OWNER and shall specifically provide for "Performance" and for "Labor and Materials Payment". Each bond shall be issued in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of contract price by a solvent Surety company, authorized to do business in the State of Texas and acceptable to the OWNER. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all minor defects or irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting bid. The OWNER reserves the right to determine which bids are most advantageous to the OWNER and the DISTRICT, and to award the Contract on this basis. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after opening of the bids. If a submitted bid is withdrawn within said period, bid guaranty shall become the property of the OWNER, not as penalty, but as liquidated damages, or OWNER may pursue any other action allowed by law. Supply and installation of approximately 5,550 L.F. of Silt Fence for storm water pollution prevention, stabilized construction entrance(s), SWPPP Book updates as needed, NOI & NOT submittals, SWPPP weekly & rain event inspections, SWPPP Mailbox, administration of SWPPP. Shall include 1.26 acres of clearing, stripping, grubbing and haul off of unusable material. Shall include tree protection. Shall include 2,033 SY of stabilization, revegetation and temporary watering. Supply and installation of 2,315 LF C-900 DR18, 135 LF C-900 DR14 and 135 LF of 16-inch steel casing for bore and jack, water main with all required embedment, concrete blocking & fittings to serve CNP UTILITY DISTRICT and the Alliance North Freeway Business Park. The anticipated start date for the work is February 3, 2022 and date of substantial completion is April 31, 2022.
