Estimated contract duration without options (in month): 2 Estimated value: 0 to $30,299 The objective of this tender is for the pre-purchase of the HVAC unit with the expectation that it will be ready for the start of construction around the end of April or the beginning of May 2023. The project consists of creating a new server room within an existing N2/9A telecommunications room in the pavilion. This server room will serve as a backup of the University's most important servers which will keep the University operational in case of an emergency. The main elements that will have to be done are: new HVAC unit, new electrical outlets on the emergency power supply, new pre-action sprinkler system, demolition of the existing gypsum ceiling, installation of a new ceiling, new slab cleanliness for the outdoor HVAC unit. Pre-purchase scope The pre-purchase resulting from this RFP and all actions resulting from it will be transferred to the general contractor who will be awarded the construction contract for the entire project. The Supplier for this pre-purchase will then become the subcontractor and Supplier of this contractor. The transfer of the contract will take place according to the terms of the Novation Agreement attached to the AO documents.
