Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in South Hill, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The principal work to be performed under this contract consists of, but not limited to the following: Design, fabricated, and furnish material and labor to erect a 500,000-gallon multi-leg steel elevated potable water storage tank including the installation of a reservoir tank mixing unit. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on the lump sum basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions for Bidders. A performance bond and payment bond, each in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Contract Price, with a corporate surety approved by the Owner, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Evidence of proper registration with the Virginia State Registration Board of Contractors, pursuant to Chapter 7 of Title 54 of the Code of Virginia, must be submitted with each bid.
