The City of La Mirada (hereinafter referred to as the "City") contracts for the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of security, video and fire systems at City facilities and parks. Exterior video surveillance cameras are currently utilized at the La Mirada Community Sheriff Station, the Civic Center Plaza, the Transit Facility, and Splash! La Mirada Regional Aquatics Center. In addition, the City uses Ring Cameras at Neff Park, Frontier Park, and the Transit Facility. Award and Execution of Contract. It is the intent of the City to award a contract to the selected firm in the form attached (Exhibit "E'). The City reserves the right to further negotiate the terms and conditions of the agreement. The City shall preserve the right to reject any proposal for noncompliance with contract requirements and provisions, or to not award an agreement because of unforeseen circumstances, or if it is determined to be in the best interest of the City. The agreement must be signed by the successful bidder and returned to the City together with the required insurance documents within ten (10) business days after receipt. Rejections of Proposals Containing Alterations, Erasures or Irregularities. Proposals may be rejected if they show any alterations of form, additions not called for, conditional or alternative bids, incomplete bids, erasures, or irregularities of any kind.
