Project has been awarded to Consolidated Flooring for $944,015 and Diverzify for $1,439,723.05. The Board of Education of Indian Prairie School District 204, DuPage County, Aurora, Illinois is accepting sealed bids for flooring replacement at 10 elementary schools located in Aurora, Bolingbrook, and Naperville Illinois. The project consists of removing, providing and installing floor finishes and all associated work as identified in the project documents. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid shall be submitted with the bid. Performance, Labor and Material Payment Bonds and Certificate of Insurance will be required from the successful Bidder. The Board of Education, Indian Prairie School District 204 reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bidding procedures, and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the School District. All Bidders must comply with Illinois Compiled Statutes, 820 ILCS 130/ (Prevailing Wage Act), requiring the payment of prevailing wage rates to all laborers, workmen and mechanics working on publicly funded projects. If during the time period of work, these rates change, the contractor shall be responsible for additional costs without any change to the contract amount. The proposed contract is subject to the requirements of the Equal Employment Practices Commission and the Illinois Human Rights Act (HRA) Illinois Revised Statutes, Ch. 68, Par. 1-101, et. seg."
