Renovation of an educational facility in Cooperstown, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The last day for questions or requests for clarification regarding the contract documents is 12/21/22 by 2:00pm. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The University hereby establishes an overall goal of 30% for MWBE participation, 13% for Minority-Owned business Enterprises (MBE) participation, 17% for Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE) participation and an overall goal of 6% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business enterprises (SDVOB) participation. Please include your MWBE Utilization (Form 7557-107) and EEO Staffing (7557-108) Plans, along with the EEO Policy Statement (Form 7557-104) with your Bid Proposal documents. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 13% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 17% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% 1. Removal of existing 60-ton air-cooled split chiller indoor and outdoor units. 2. Removal of all associated existing refrigerant piping and hangers between indoor chiller and outdoor condensing unit. Patching and infilling of all wall openings where refrigerant piping is removed. Patching and repairing of ceilings removed to allow for refrigerant piping removals. 3. Install new air cooled chiller on concrete pad at other end of building. Install new indoor evaporator on concrete pad in mechanical room. Provide refrigerant piping between indoor and outdoor units, and new chilled water piping/connections to indoor evaporator. 4. Vegetation removal and excavation to allow for installation of concrete pad and outdoor chiller. 5. Electrical power for new chiller. 6. Install new refrigerant monitoring panel and sensor in mechanical room. Provide control integration with existing emergency ventilation system. 7. HVAC control integration for new chiller with existing building DDC system. 8. Commissioning of air-cooled chiller. Project Locations: a. 5383 NY-80, Cooperstown, NY 13326
