For supplying materials required to construct corrugated metal pipes with steel headwalls and wingwalls and other related incidental work at three sites. The bids will be presented to the Otoe County Board for consideration on December 20, 2022 at its regularly scheduled meeting. The project sites are located: C-66(605) on Road M between Road 6 and Road 8, C-66(609) - on Road 14 between Road D and Road E, and C-66(680) on Road 20 between Road K and Road L, all in Otoe County, Nebraska. The project is referred to as STWD-CBMP(6): C-66(605), C-66(609), & C-66(680) and shall include all labor, materials, transportation and equipment required to fabricate and deliver the materials necessary to construct: C-66(605) triple 108 x 60 corrugated metal pipes on a 150 skew (LHB), C-66(609) triple 72 x 58-0 corrugated metal pipes on a 450 skew (LHB), C-66(680) triple 120 x 56 corrugated metal pipes on a 200 skew (LHB), all with steel headwalls and wingwalls. The sealed bids may be mailed or delivered to the County Clerk of Otoe County, Otoe County Courthouse, 1021 Central Avenue, PO Box 249, Nebraska City, Nebraska 68410, and should be plainly marked as, Materials Bid Proposal STWD-CBMP(6): C-66(605), C-66(609), & C-66(680) Along with its Bid Proposal, each bidder shall submit an unconditional Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the County Treasurer of Otoe County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the Bid Proposal. Also, each bidder is to include an estimated time of delivery for the materials with their Bid Proposal. The desired delivery date of the material is ten to twelve weeks after the award of the contract. All materials shall be delivered to the project sites. Within ten (10) days following the award of the Contract, the successful bidder shall furnish a surety bond or bonds in an amount equal to or greater than the full amount of the contract. The surety and form of the bonds are subject to acceptance by the Otoe County Board of Commissioners. The Otoe County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities in bids received. Award of the Contract will be in accordance with the County Purchasing Act's competitive bidding considerations as set forth in Neb.Rev.Stat. 23-3110 to 23-3114.
