Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a 282,000-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
As of February 28, 2024, this project is projected to start construction March 2024 pending permit approvals received. M.B. Kahn Construction is requesting proposals for the New Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School. The general scope of work is the construction of a new high school (approximately 282,000 sf) with related site work and athletic improvements. BASE BID & ALTERNATES -Base Bid- Main Building & Site work- The work for the base bid is indicated in the drawings labeled Volume 1A- Main Building and Volume 1B- Main Building and associated specifications. -Alternate One- Field House Building- The work for Alternate One is indicated in the drawings labeled Volume 2- Field House Building and associated specifications. -Alternate Two- Baseball-Softball Support Building- The work for Alternate Two is indicated in the drawings labeled Volume 3- Baseball-Support Building and associated specifications. -Alternate Three- Press Box Building- The work for Alternate Three is indicated in the drawings labeled Volume 4- Press Box Building and associated specifications. PLEASE NOTE: - Bidders may provide pricing on the alternates without providing pricing on the Base Bid. - Bidders should provide all layout and engineering required for their work. - Bidders are to provide all equipment, hoisting and material handling as required for their work. - Bidders are to provide daily cleanup and removal of all trash created by their work to the dumpsters provided onsite for this purpose. - Bidders are to provide all dewatering necessary to complete their Work.
