City of Atwater, MN Atwater Community Center, 107 2nd Street North, Atwater, MN 56209 Roof Replacement, Heating/Cooling Unit Replacement, Stucco Repair, and Window/Door Replacement Project The City of Atwater, MN will accept bids for the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and services necessary for the project listed above including all associated work required to install / repair same as shown in bid documentsIt is the City of Atwaters intention to award one single prime contract to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder whose bid meets the requirements of the solicitation for the project listed above based on available funding. If equal low bids are received from responsible bidders, selection shall be made by drawing lots. The project construction start is anticipated to be Spring 2023. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the City of Atwater, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the Bidder(s) and an acceptable surety, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid, must be submitted with each bid. Successful bidders must furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds, in the penal sum of the full amount of the contract awarded. No less than minimum salaries and wages set forth in the contract documents must be paid on this project (Davis-Bacon). Contractors must take affirmative action to ensure employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age, sexual orientation, disability, familial status or status with regard to public assistance. HUD Section 3 Compliance and Documentation are required on this project. The City of Atwater reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in the bidding and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder.
