Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Kiawah Island, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for the construction of a 280-square-foot playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

**As of January 23, 2023 project was awarded to IPW Construction Group LLC, awarded amount is $137,707.62** The purpose of this project is to build a new permanent shed for life saving equipment at Beachwalker County Park, with an alternate to replace the floor in the existing concession building. The work will include building an approximate 20'x14' wood frame shed on a concrete slab foundation with asphalt shingle roof, shed doors, window, partial fence removal, new fence sections and concrete ramp down to existing grade. Minor demolition of existing asphalt pavement partially located in shed location with minor grading as needed to place slab and provide drainage away from slab. Exterior painting of shed to have one coat primer and two coats of premium quality exterior latex paint, color to be as stipulated by Kiawah Island Architectural Review Board (KI-ARB). All questions pertaining to the bid documents shall be referred by email prcprocurement@ccprc.com. The last day and time for submittal of written questions shall be no later than 2:00 p.m. ET, Thursday, December 15, 2022. Any interpretation, correction or change of the IFB documents will be made by addendum. It is your responsibility to monitor the Procurement portal for any additional information, revisions, or addenda that may be posted. Companies are encouraged to visit the site and will be responsible for verification of the site conditions and by submittal of a bid, companies certify that they have verified measurements and are familiar with the facilities prior to submitting a proposal. BONDS: Bids must be accompanied by a BID BOND or certified check in the amount of (5%) five percent of the BASE BID. PERFORMANCE BOND AND LABOR AND MATERIAL PAYMENT BOND are required, for (100%) one hundred percent of the contract amount. Pre-Bid Meeting- There will be a site visit for all interested bidders at Beachwalker Drive Kiawah Island SC 29455. While this meeting is non-mandatory, prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Those that attend the meeting will have the opportunity to review the site and structures and submit questions in person. Contractors who do not attend the Pre-Bid Meeting may visit Beachwalker County Park at their convenience. CCPRC will not meet with individual companies. Contractors not attending the Pre-Proposal Meeting may not ask park staff about the project.
