Renovation of a transportation facility in Wichita Falls, Texas. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The City Economic Development Council is currently working with the Chamber of Commerce, 4A and 4B Boards on the construction of a Business Air Park. The Regional airport is also involved with the coordination, and planning with FAA and City as this project will use FAA Grant Funds with City Match. The Regional Airport is also coordinating the hanger modification to house an Aircraft Maintenance Repair Facility, that will be doing business in Wichita Falls. The hanger will be temporary until their permanent 50,000 sq ft hanger will be built on the new Air Park. The project is included in the city's 2023-2027 capital improvement plan (CIP). As of December 15, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
