Site work for a water / sewer project in Ashland, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Ashland, Kentucky on the following item(s): Waterline Replacement Project - Phase 2 - US 23 and Winchester Avenue Water Main The scope of work is for replacement of existing waterlines, water services, fire hydrants, other water system appurtenances and abandonment of existing lines and includes: Installation of approximately 1450 LF of 16" Diameter C900 DR 14 PVC (or DI C52), 825 LF of 24" Diameter C900 DR 14 PVC (or DI C52), 200 LF of 6" Diameter C900 DR 14 PVC (or DI C52), 5 EA 24" Butterfly Valve with box, 4 EA 16" Gate Valves with box, 3 EA 6" Gate Valves with box, 1 EA Fire Hydrants, 7 EA Services, 250 LF 2" Service Line including fittings, restraints, blocking, anchors, connections and appurtenances. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each BIDDER must deposit with his Bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. No BIDDER may withdraw his Bid within ninety (90) consecutive calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. All Contractors questions regarding this project must be in writing and e-mailed to scole@ashlandky.gov or faxed to 606-385-3333 at least 5 days prior to the bid date.
