Work for Arenac County Road Commission can begin after May 1, 2023 through June 30, 2023 and or September 1, 2023 through October 30, 2023 and all work shall be completed October 30, 2023, or as directed by the Managing Director. Work for Iosco County Road Commission can begin after May 1, 2023 and all work shall be completed June 17, 2023, or as directed by the Engineer-Manager. The Contractor shall provide 72 hours' notice to Arenac County Road Commission and or Iosco County Road Commission prior to beginning work on any stretch of road. The measurement will be by the centerline of the roadway to the hundredth of a mile. This will include the full width of the pavement surface from edge of asphalt to edge of asphalt. The successful bidder for Arenac County Road Commission will be determined by the most completed miles at the fixed price of $85,000.00. The successful bidder for Iosco County Road Commission will be determined by the most completed miles at the fixed price of $175,000.00. The Arenac County Road Commission Board and or Iosco County Road Commission Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in the bids and to make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the County of Arenac and or County of Iosco. Bid price may be extended for one (1) additional year by mutual consent of all parties.
