SCRIBE Healthcare Materials Management Services (HMMS) is looking to pre-qualify Mechanical and Electrical Contractors with a proven record of providing relevant Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional Mechanical and Electrical services, for future selected projects in hospital / healthcare environments. The preparation and issuance of this Request for Supplier Qualification (RFSQ) is the first stage of a two-stage competitive process that HMMS is using to gather information about supplier capabilities and qualifications, in order to pre-qualify suppliers in advance of expected future procurement competitions. Supplier pre-qualification is not an obligation of the Organization(s) to call on any supplier to provide goods or services as a result of pre-qualification. Furthermore, HMMS and its Affiliates make no guarantee of the value or volume of work to be awarded to the pre-qualified Mechanical and Electrical Contractors, throughout the three-year term of the Qualification Period (VOR). All projects are subject to internal approval processes, approval of external funding, and/or budgets. It is the intention of HMMS to award Vendor of Record (VOR) status to a maximum of seven (7) Mechanical and seven (7) Electrical Proponents who successfully prove their capabilities and qualifications, as a result of this RFSQ. Only the suppliers on the pre-qualified list will receive further notices of procurement covered by the (VOR) list. The number of pre-qualified suppliers that will be invited to submit tenders for future procurement, will be based on the Second Stage Selection details outlined below. This RFSQ is being posted as a Multi-Lot event, with Lot 1 for Electrical Contractors, and Lot 2 for Mechanical Contractors. Proponents are able to bid on either or both lots, should they have options that meet each lot's specific criteria. Proponents may be awarded VOR status for one (1), or both Lots.
