The Work includes, but is not limited to: Replace existing boilers with new high efficiency condensing boilers. Replace existing water heaters with new high efficiency condensing water heaters replace existing primary heating water pumps. Replace existing heating water expansion tank. Replace gas piping and gas regulators. Provide new mechanical controls Deposits will be returned to Bidders upon return of the Bid Documents to ARC in good condi tion within 10 days following Bid Opening. Bid Bond: Each contractors bid of $150,000.00 or more must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashiers check, or bid bond, equal to 5% of the total Base Bid only, excluding taxes. Make checks payable to the Renton School District; furnish bond executed by a licensed bonding agency authorized to do business in the locality of the project. Prevailing Wage: It is the responsibility of the bidder to go online to verify they have the most current prevailing wages at time of bid. Apprenticeship Requirement: This Project is not estimated to cost one million dollars or more. This Project is not subject to the apprenticeship requirements of RCW 39.04.320. Right to Reject. The Owner reserves the right to accept the lowest or any other Bid, the right to reject any or all Bids, and the right to waive any irregularities in any Bid. Withdraw of Bid: No Bid may be withdrawn, except with the express permission of the Owner, after the time set for the open ing thereof, unless the award, of Contract is delayed for a period exceeding 45 days THE PROJECT DESCRIPTION IS PROVIDED FOR REFERENCE ONLY.
