Site work and paving for a civil project in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The Oak Creek Water & Sewer Utility is seeking proposals for design services to relay approximately 8,000 LF of existing 12-inch water main in the Northbranch Industrial Park along S. 6th Street and W. Marquette Avenue. The project will be designed for phased construction in three stages. These will be the south half of 6th Street for construction in 2024, the north half of 6th Street for 2025 construction and Marquette Avenue for 2026 construction. The project will involve two creek crossings requiring DNR approval and two railroad spur track crossings requiring Union Pacific approval. You are invited to provide a lump sum cost proposal with resumes of proposed staff to me by noon, central time, on December 30, 2022. Should your company be selected to perform the work, the proposal will be taken to the January Board meeting for approval. The water main relay plans and specifications would be due by October 31, 2023. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
