Site work for a water / sewer project in Red Bay, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work of providing equipmentfor the Proposed County 190 Highway Waterline Extension will be let under one contract. The principal items of work are detailed herein below. If your Bid Documents are mailed, they should be received prior to January 12, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at the Water Works and Gas Board of the City of Red Bay, P.O. Box 2007, Red Bay Alabama 35582. Principal Work: 1. 11,000 LF of 3" HDPE Pipe, Pressure Class 250 (Labor Only) 2. Six (6) 3" Gate Valves (Labor Only) 3. One (1) Wet Connection 4. Bridge Crossing The Contractor is hereby advised that TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE on this project and that the contract time of 90 consecutive calendar days total and noted restrictions shall be strictly observed. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES WILL BE ASSESSED IF CONTRACT TIME IS EXCEEDED. The Contractor may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the contract; however, such an extension must be approved prior to the contract completion date to avoid the imposition of liquidated damages.
