The proposed work is officially known as "Lytle Park East Parking Lot Pavement Project". The proposed work consists of Parking Lot Hot- Mix-Asphalt, 3" thickness, 90' by 336', Storm Sewer connection, Base Preparation and other related work.All bidders must be prepared to submit within five (5) days of District's request, current financial and experience statement to show satisfactory evidence of the bidder's competency to perform the proposed work. No bid proposal will be accepted unless the bidder has complied with all of the above requirements. All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee which shall be a bank cashier's check, bid bond, bank draft or a properly certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid for accomplishing the proposed work. Proposal guarantees shall be made payable to: "Mattoon Township Park District". The successful bidder shall enter into a written contract with the District and shall furnish a surety bond for the full amount of the contract to guarantee completion of the work in a satisfactory manner and shall furnish liability insurance to protect the District, its Commissioners and agents, all as set forth in the contract documents. required to comply with all laws, including those relating to prevailing rate of wages.
