This project will construct a second 2.6 million gallon Chlorine Contact Tank (CT Tank) next to the existing CT Tank. It will provide much needed clear water storage and enable maintenance to be done on the interior of either tank regardless of process seasons or weather. The project will require the installation of approximately 200 ft. of 16" DI water main, 200 ft. of 8" DI drain line, and 100 ft. each of 1" sample line and control wiring. As of May 14, 2025, this project is included in the City of Unalaska's FY 2025-2034 CIP. Information regarding a design firm and the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed.
