CONTRACT NO. 23-177 This contract consists of dredging five (5) locations including detention basins, lakes, and ponds within the City of Dallas. The Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to: 1. Mobilization of personnel, equipment, and materials to the site. Establishing temporary lay- down and storage areas. Establishing temporary access roads, mobilization of dredge, boosters, all pipelines and any other ancillary equipment asrequired by the CONTRACTOR to complete the works. 2. Developing a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) in accordance with specifications, laws, rules and maintaining Best Management Practices (BMPs) throughout construction. 3. Removing trees and brush as necessary for installing and maintaining the dredge slurry and return water pipelines: Including all permits, removal and proper disposal of any cleared trees and or vegetation. Owner must authorize all tree removals. 4. Site Preparation. Refer to Section 12 5. Debris removal: a. Remove and dispose of debris encountered in dredging process to an approved offsite disposal location, including tipping fees as necessary. 6. Site cleanup, restoration, and demobilization. a. Restore all areas to original condition prior to construction or satisfactory to the OWNER. City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids Milestone 1: Effective Start Date shall be no longer than 90 Calendar days after City Council award of this project. Liquidated Damages shall be $1,000 Per Calendar Day. Milestone 2: All base bid work and site restoration shall be completed within 380 Consecutive Calendar Days. Liquidated Damages shall be $1,000 Per Calendar Day. Milestone 3: All additive bid work and site restoration shall be completed within 60 Consecutive Calendar Days. Liquidated damages shall be $1,000 per calendar day.
