The supply of materials only for a water line project consisting of 19,240 LF of 8 water main, fire hydrants, water meters and associated appurtenances. The materials for this project will bring water to approximately 39 area homes, some of which are low to moderate income (LMI). This project is being funded in whole or in part by the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the Presidents Executive Order No. 11246 & Order No. 11375 which prohibits discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. Bidders must comply with Title VI if the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Davis-Bacon Act, the Anti-Kickback Act, the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, and 40 CFR 33.240. Bidders must also make positive efforts to use small and minority-owned business and to offer employment, training and contracting opportunities in accordance with Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. The owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities, or to reject any or all bids. Each sealed envelope containing a bid must be plainly marked on the outside as Bid for Materials - Isaac Drive Water Project. The envelope should also bear on the outside the Bidders name and address.
