Site work and new construction of a clubhouse / community center in East Fayetteville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,872-square-foot, one-story above grade clubhouse / community center.

The Project is for the completion of the construction of a single-story, pre-engineered building for use as a community center. The work scope includes site paving utilities, and general exterior and interior construction, including completing construction of the pre-engineered building, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and landscaping work. Please note that the pre-engineered building package has been partially completed whereby the exterior/interior walls, roof trusses, and standing seam metal roofing are set in place, roof gutters have been installed however downspouts have not. The plumbing and electrical rough in installations have been completed, inspected, and passed by the authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ), however the mechanical rough in has NOT occurred. Contract Time: 150 CALENDAR DAYS Liquidated Damages: $1,000.00 per calendar day for each day of overrun $1,000.00 per calendar day for each day of unauthorized suspension A performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the construction contract amount A laborer and materials payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the construction contract amount Each proposal shall be accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check or cashier's check drawn on a bank or trust insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, payable to the City of Fayetteville in an amount equal to not less than 5 percent of the proposal The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities concerning bid or award bid to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder or bidders, taking into consideration quality, performance and the time specified in the proposals for the performance of the contract.
