Renovation of a mixed-use development in San Francisco, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a office development; and transportation facility.
The scope of work includes removing and disposing existing fixed glass window panels and replacing the single glass panel with a top and bottom fixed glass panel and a middle operable awning style window panel, removing an existing automatic sliding door system and replacing with a new automatic sliding door system, and all other related work items as required to complete the project titled Golden Gate Bridge Toll Plaza Administration Building Door and Window Rehabilitation Project, as shown on the Contract Drawings and as specified in the Contract Documents.The successful Bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in amounts equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total price of the Contract. District will retain five percent (5%) from each invoice/billing statement submitted in connection with the Contract. Minimum wage rates for this Project, as determined by the U.S. Secretary of Labor, are set forth in the Special Provisions, Section 10.10. If there is a difference between the minimum wage rates determined by the Secretary of Labor and the prevailing wage rates determined by the State for similar classifications of labor, Contractor and its subcontractors shall pay no less than the higher wage rate. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bidding procedure.
