Failure on the part of a prospective bidder to receive a written interpretation prior to the time of the opening of bids will not be grounds for withdrawal of proposal. Bidders shall take special note of the stipulations on page G-4, under Interpretation of Contract Documents, in regards to questions on this Contract. The Resident Engineer for this Contract is Mr. Paul Sobanski. Mr. Sobanski will provide online responses to online inquiries. The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals. Tenders are invited to provide a full-service rain barrel ordering and delivery service to individual homeowners of the District's service area in Cook County and parts of Will County, Illinois, and from time-to-time for other recipients on an asneeded basis, such as to scheduled special events, or to one of the District's various facilities. The Contractor shall provide full management of the District's rain barrel program, including order form hosting, payment processing, and the furnishing and delivering of rain barrels, through December 31, 2025. Funding of all contract items is subject to the Board of Commissioners' approval of the budget for all years under this Contract. There is no bid deposit for this Contract. The District intends to award one Contract to one Bidder for all the work to be performed.
