The primary term of the contract awarded as a result of this RFP will be for one (1) year from the negotiated start of the contract. Upon mutual agreement of the parties, the contract may be renewed for up to three (3) additional oneyear terms, based on the same pricing, terms and conditions. The primary term and all one-year renewal options shall not exceed four years (Section 13-1-150 NMSA). The contract may also be renewed for a period less than one full year. San Juan County is seeking proposals for on-call trail design, permitting, and construction/maintenance from a qualified engineering firm to design, construct, and maintain Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) and Mountain Bike (MTB) trail 8 improvements located on public lands in San Juan County. The selected vendor(s) will show experience in the design and construction of both motorized and non-motorized trail systems. The project team will have specific expertise in permitting trail systems or similar linear projects in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and other state/local regulations. The County reserves the option to renew the agreement for an additional 3 one-year terms. The goal of this procurement is to establish a time and materials price agreement for work to be performed on an as needed basis. The awarded Contractor will provide all necessary labor tools, equipment and materials needed to provide on-call design, permitting and construction/maintenance services. All work that is completed shall follow any local, state and federal laws and regulations.
