Vendor shall furnish one (1) Amco Pump Manufacturing, Inc. Model No. APCD10044T 4x4 Auto Prime Trailer Mounted pump, or approved equal. The pump shall be supplied by the factory authorized pump agent for Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, or for the brand they are bidding. Any bids submitted for other pump manufacturers must include in their bid all information needed to fully demonstrate complete compliance with the requirements of these specifications. It will be the bidder's responsibility to provide adequate information necessary for complete evaluation of their proposed equipment. Jefferson Parish shall be the sole judge as to the equality of the alternate manufacturer's offering. Jefferson Parish reserves the right to cancel any bids that are incomplete or do not demonstrate that they are equal to the requirement of these specifications. Bidders should submit all questions in writing via email to the buyer's email address as indicated above, no later than Five (5) working days prior to the bid opening. Bid numbers should be mentioned in all requests. A bid bond will be required with bid submission in the amount of 5% of the total bid All awards for public works in excess of $5,000.00 will be reduced to a formal contract which shall be recorded at the contractor's expense with the Clerk of Court and Ex-Officio Recorder of Mortgages for the Parish of Jefferson. A price list of recordation costs may be obtained from the Clerk of Court and Ex-Officio Recorder of Mortgages for the Parish of Jefferson. All awards in excess of $25,000.00 will require both a performance and a payment bond. Unless otherwise stated in the bid specifications, the performance bond requirements shall be 100% of the contract price. Unless otherwise state in the bid specifications, the payment bond requirements shall be 100% of the contract price. Both bonds shall be supplied at the signing of the contract.
