As of February 16, 2023, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. Lakeview ADA Toilets Project Description: 1. Renovation of existing bathrooms to meet ADA requirements. G. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for (1) Bid Packages Encompassing the following work: 1. General Trades 1. Regulatory Requirements: Illinois Park District Code (70 ILCS 1205 / 8-1) shall govern submittal, opening, and award of bids. A. Owner will receive emailed lump sum bids until the bid time and date given below. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows: A. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time as noted in the Project Schedule in the Bid Documents 1.7 BIDDERS QUALIFICATIONS A. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
