The scope of services to be provided by the Design/Build Contractor include: Phase 1: The D/B Contractor will work with the City and Durham Arts Council staff to review the project's scope and provide an engineering assessment. The Design-Build contractor is encouraged to work with the Duke Energy Design Assistance team (or equivalent) to provide a scope of work and cost estimate for the project. Phase 2: A fee for design services for the work identified from the project will be negotiated. The D/B Contractor will then proceed with design activities. Phase 3: A fee for construction activities will be negotiated using the scope of work identified from the design contract documents and cost estimate. The D/B Contractor will then proceed with construction. Any questions regarding this RFQ must be received in writing prior to 12:00 PM, March 14, 2023. . Questions received after this date may not receive response. The goals for this RFQ are 8% Minority/UBE and 0% Women/UBE.
