Saving Project...

Site work for a road / highway in Bradenton Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The City is currently seeking sealed bids from licensed and insured contractors to provide all labor, equipment, and materials not provided by FPL, Charter, Verizon, and supervision necessary to successfully accomplish the underground conversion project. Gulf of Mexico Drive "GMD" is the main thoroughfare through the City that runs in North-South and is the primary route for ingress and egress to the City. Utility companies currently providing aerial service to businesses and residents include Charter, Florida Power and Light (FPL), and Verizon. These utilities are located on power poles running parallel and along GMD, and running parallel along the side streets of 3rd, 4th, and 5th Streets South, respectively, and as depicted on the FPL plans as part of this RFP. The City seeks to convert all of the current aerial facilities within this area as part of this project. Bid Bond 0 M/WBEs are encouraged to participate in the bid process.
