Notice is hereby given, that the Board of School Trustees of the Northwest Allen County Schools, pursuant to 1C 5-22-22, will receive sealed bids for an expansion of its wide area network. All bids shall be in accordance with specifications which can be obtained from Seth Slater, NACS Chief Technology Officer, seth.slater@nacs.kl2. in.us or 260-338-5324. Bidders mustsubmit a hard copy of their bid and any required forms, AND an electronic version of the bid response (including any required forms) on a USB flash drive in a sealed envelope, with their firm's name and address clearly indicated on the envelope. Bidders will be required to file, with their bids, a certified check made Payable to the Northwest Allen County cnools or a Bid Bond for an amountnot less than five percent (5%) of their maximum bid or bids. Each successful bidder shall be required to furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond which cover faithful performance of the contract and the payment of all obligations arising thereunder. A Maintenance Bond shall also be required. Said bonds shall remain in full force and effect for twelve months from the substantial completion of the Work. The Northwest Allen County Schools Board of Trustees reserves the right to waive formalities in bidding, to reject any or all bids, and to let separate contracts or as a whole, without assigning any reason for its action in the premises, using its discretion to determine what action will be in the best interest of Northwest Allen County Schools. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder complying with the conditions for bidding, provided the bid is reasonable and it is to the best interest of the Owner to accept it. Bids not reaching said office by the established deadline will not be opened or considered. The Owner reserves the right to reject the bid of any or all bidder in accordance with Indiana Code 36-1-12.
