This Request for Proposals (the RFP) is an invitation by the Rural Municipality of Edenwold No. 158 (the RM) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of a needs assessment and feasibility study for lands owned by the RM as follows: 100 Hutchence Road, Emerald Park 13 Percival Drive, Emerald Park Emerald Park Lagoons (decommissioned) As Emerald Park and its surroundings grow in size and population, there is increased demand for municipal services and recreation opportunities. In response to these pressures, the RM of Edenwold requests proposals for a needs assessment and site plan for these properties. The needs assessment will review community and municipal needs and create a list of resources that could be located at each RM property. This needs assessment will strive to find the highest and best use of the land. Potential uses may include a new public works shop, a yard waste depot, a stormwater retention pond, pickleball or tennis courts, or other recreational or municipal assets. Based on the needs assessment, the proponent will provide three conceptual schematic layouts for each property. These layouts will be used by the RM to guide future development. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
