Site work for a civil project in Mirabel, Quebec. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Construction work to increase a capacity of the plant drinking water production capacity from 4,900 Cubic Meter per Day to 5,833 Cubic Meter per Day, by carrying out the following work: - connection and development of an underground water well at Charles station; - increase in capacity of a booster pump; - increasing the capacity of the network of softeners; - addition of a continuous transmittance reader upstream of the UV reactors; - replacement of chlorination pumps with sodium hypochlorite; - replacement of certain pipes from 150mm to 250mm, located in the building, in order to maintain an adequate flow speed despite the increase in flow; - expansion of the existing building to accommodate new process equipment as well as an office type space; - civil and landscaping work. TIMELINE: Working drawings are ongoing. The owner has increased the project budget and scope of work. Tender for the general contractor is anticipated in fall 2025.
