NCORR is seeking to procure the services of General Contractors to perform, or cause to be performed, rehabilitation of eligible structures in compliance with local, Federal, and State statutory requirements for grants. General Contractors must mobilize within 20 days of Contract award (which shall include obtaining consent to perform the work, design, permitting, surveying, temporary utilities, etc.) and complete assigned construction projects within the contracted time (subject to environmental remediation), construction in most cases should not exceed 45 days for rehabilitation to reduce potential hazards to public welfare and safety. Days refer to calendar days. It is the intent and goal of NCORR and the State of North Carolina to make every HRP home project successful, so Vendors are encouraged to work proactively with NCORR to identify and resolve all issues and problems immediately to minimize delays in completing HRP projects.
